Tsim Sha Tsui
Day 2 started late because I woke up late. Temperature was 14 degrees by 8AM and it just felt good sleeping in. But hey, I’m not here to just sleep so I bought Disneyland ticket from the reception for HKD490 which was a few dollars cheaper and I was off to start my day by 10am.
Day 2 Outfit of the Day
10:30AM Breakfast at Starbucks – It was hard for me to decide where to eat because I dont really know where its good to eat (I was busy researching for my itinerary that I forgot to search where to eat! So Starbucks & Mcdonalds were my only go to meals here. 🙁
Disneyland Resort Line
From Tsim Sha Tsui, I arrived at the Disneyland Resort Line around 11:40AM
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
12 NOON I’m already outside Disneyland HK!
Okay, so now I’m really completely alone and no one to take my photos. Wondering how I got so many solo shots? Thanks to my tripod, although people in the background doesn’t seem to cooperate with me.
People loved to walk in front of other people’s camera so I also did this since I think it’s the “in” thing here. Hahaha!
Disneyland was under construction when I came here so here’s the cardboard Disney castle and some parts were also closed. Boo!
Hello to this sweet couple and to this cute kid. LOL
I was able to watch the show although the line was crazy!
All theme parks have overpriced food. I forgot how much this costs but it surely tasted like the chicken our helper cooked at home, maybe ours tasted even better!
It was already getting dark and I was able to try few rides. I liked the grizzly bear ride because they had a separate line for people who are alone (ehem) so I didn’t queue on the line that long.
What I noticed here is people don’t really respect the queue as much as in Universal Studios SG or definitely not like the people in DisneySea Tokyo (will put another post soon I hope). Also, unlike in USS, staffs are willing to take your photo when they have characters out for photo-op and again, the people would really line up.
Queue on the rides were lessen probably because some were already sitting outside the castle for the fireworks so I was able to get on the rides. I particularly love the Toy Story land.
Temperature was getting really cold as night came.
From 18 degrees in the afternoon, it dropped to 16 degrees now.
Overall, it was a fun but really tiring experience. I would probably have enjoyed this if I got someone to talk to when the line was too long. And Im not gonna name the nationality so as not to be racist and all but I think people needed to be more disciplined and to not cut the lines and follow simple rules.
